About 37 old friend/old class mates were assemble at Hotel Eastern Residence, Banani for a reunion dinner on 22 May 2003. The event created such a friendly environment where many of our friends got nostalgic. Friends recalled their golden days by specifying many events, which they faced together. Every body echoed the same sentiment that those precious golden days would never come back and such reunion could give us new strength to move forward with friendship. Before dinner a formal meeting was held. The meeting was presided over by M. Emamul Haque. One-minute silence was observed, before the floor was open for discussion, for the remembrance of all Adamjee teachers and students died so far.

With a view to establishing a forum for classmates and friends of Adamjee cantonment school (SSC 80 Batch) the following classmates and friends brainstormed in a meeting at Navid's place (48 old DOHS) on 19 May 2003. Various issues were discussed in the meeting. The meeting decided that it would organize a get-together on 22 May 2003 at 7.30pm at Hotel Eastern Residence, House#14, Road# 27, Block- J, Banani, Dhaka. The meeting was presided over by the classmate M. Emamul Haque. All classmates present were requested to inform other classmates/friends of 80 batch about the get together. In order to mobilize the strength of friendship classmates present in the meeting felt a need to form a forum.
